Just as luck would have it, a cold front was barreling down on us tournament day. It was a constant 20mph wind gusting to 30mph. Those of us who braved the winds were no doubt looking for adventure! The fishing was good for some, but the BBQ after the tournament was great for everyone!! See ya next month.

The mornings started out cold and warmed throughout the day. Some fished the Mexico side and some did not. Saturday night we enjoyed a Fajita dinner with all the fixins cooked by Chef Jeff Kalinoski and his assistant Jerry Campos. Everyone had a fun time fishing without any major problems. Vaya con Dios!

SWRI kicked off the first tournament of the year at Coleto. The saying that when it rains it pours proved true for this weekend. We even had an individual do a polar bear swim in the lake (braver man than me.)
